Patent clip - the irremovable alternative to the eyelet

Our 2-piece plastic patent eyelet is not only a secure, but also inexpensive fastening option for fabrics, nets, films and transparencies. Quickly, easily and with virtually no tools required, it places a tight, tear-resistant eyelet in any web of material. This helpful tool is suitable for the permanent and robust fastening or bracing of various materials  up to 1.0 mm thick.

Since the patent clip is only fixed with a robust mandrel and a pressure ring, time-consuming pre-punching of round holes as well as additional tools for mounting are not necessary. Extremely simple handling and yet perfect hold in the fabric.  

For fastening between the patent clip and a fastening point, we recommend an elastic / flexible fastening method such as Spannflex, rubber cord or Spannquick. The recesses on the Patent Clip for fastening with the surrounding ø 8.5 mm are perfectly suited for this purpose.

Application area

A simple and safe alternative to the eyelet, for fastening wind and privacy protection, or for tensioning various fabrics, nets and banners. The patent clip is intended for one-time and permanent use. Simply place the 2-part clip on the edge of the desired fabric. For nets, simply put the spike through a mesh and use the 2nd part, the pressure ring, to fix the material. With denser and stronger types of fabric, it may be necessary to pre-drill a hole with a piercing/drilling/sewing needle in order to then fix the pressure ring.

When used for wind and privacy protection, as well as balcony cladding, the patent clip can be placed directly at a strut, similar to the ClipOn. Exactly where there may not be an eyelet, the material can be tensioned in the right place. In this way, creases in the material can be eliminated or reduced.

Attention: the patent clip is a permanent eyelet replacement and can no longer be detached.
